For one of our clients we are looking for a Supply Chain Management consultant (m/f). The consultant will work as a member of an international client and consultant team and will be responsible for the integration of transportation planning and execution processes into the harmonized SCM template. This will include supporting multiple modes of transportation (ocean, road, and rail) including freight procurement and integration with freight forwarders.Responsibilities of the consultant:
Work in full cooperation with the sites during the localization phase of each wave.
Incorporate the local business requirements for transportation planning and execution into the harmonized SCM processes.
Establishing master data requirements, testing and training plans, cutover plans and go-live support.
The following skills are required:
Extensive travel throughout the project as much of the activity will need to be done on-site.
Background in transportation planning and execution and logistics sourcing. Experience in a high volume, bulk business preferred.
SAP TM experience preferred
Motivation to work in a team.
Excellent social and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluent English
Main Location: Rhein-Neckar area, frequent international travel required
Project duration: asap –planned for 6 months, longer term extension possible
