For one of our clients in the chemical industry we’re looking for a freelance SAP FSCM Consultant:1. Project Description
FSCM Credit Management Rollout: The purpose of this project is to rollout FSCM Credit Management to all regions in to replace the FI Credit Management and Enhance FSCM Credit with new functions as defined.
FSCM Dispute CN approval workflow enhancements: Enhancements with new functions on ERP and Cloud systems.
2. Task Description
External resources are needed as there is no internal staff with the required expertise in the following areas:
• Programming FSCM Dispute Management, FSCM Collection & FSCM Credit Management;
• Configuration of WebService WS-RM for FSCM Credit Management;
• Programming of CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) for Business Partners;
• Cloud Interface.
Therefore, the tasks have to be done by an external contractor.
The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external contractor:
(1) FSCM Credit Management
The change requests/functional design will be provided in advance, chapter 1 describes the business requirements and chapter 2 will be the concept the contractor provides for handover to the client manager. The client will validate and approve the documentations.
• Technical set up for FSCM CR Rollout
• Technical set up of CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) according to the Template Activation Forms (TAFs), FSCM CR set up, WebService-Remote (WS-RM) communication by executing the following tasks:
o CVI /Business Partner (BP) Transformation Process for FSCM CR
o CVI Synchronization for FSCM CR
o Customizing Business Partner (BP) Roles/Grouping for FSCM CR
o WS-RM communication set up for FSCM CR
• Implementing above mentioned concept in the rollout countries per phase (6 go lives planned in 2021, 2 go lives planned in 2022)
o Data conversion from FI Credit to FSCM Credit for relevant countries in Test and Production
o Test of FSCM CR for relevant countries
o Cutover for go live of relevant countries
o Hypercare for go live of relevant countries
• Develop with ABAP enhancements for FSCM Credit: Credit Limit Workflow, Credit limit calculation; respective documentation of the concept will be provided in advance by the client.
• Horizion Upgrade Jan-Apr 2022 – reimplement the modifications and test in detail that FI and FSCM credit is running in parallel
(1) FSCM CR Enhancements
• Technical set up adjustments of CVI (Customer Vendor Integration), FSCM CR set up, WS-RM communication by executing the following tasks:
o CVI /BP Transformation Process for FSCM CR
o CVI Synchronization for FSCM CR
o Customizing Business Partner (BP) Roles/Grouping for FSCM CR
o WS-RM communication set up for FSCM CR
• Develop Enhancements for FSCM Credit with Unit test & technical documentation which is subject to approval by the client:
o Details given per Functional Design (FD) by Finance in advance.
(2) FSCM-DDM CN approval workflow enhancements
• Develop Enhancements for FSCM DDM CN approval workflow in SAP and in the Cloud solution;
o Program the interface between SAP and the Cloud as per the requirements;
o Requirements are provided to the contractor in advance;
o Enhancements are coming in the form of change requests. The contractor can independently work on the change request in the sequence given to him and deliver these change requests in the client IT calendar dates.
• Perform Unit and Functional Test as per the client Standards;
• Write technical documentation which is subject to approval by the clinet;
o Details given per FD by Finance in advance.
3. Timelines
Go lives are depending on Major Release Calendar in the client and communicated to the contractor as soon as they are ready:
o FD sequence is given per quarter from Finance
o Depending on the client’s IT calendar the CRs goes into the phases Development, test, cutover, go live
