Project description:
Covering the development, implementation, integration, testing, maintenance and support (functional and technical) for the cloud based SAP and Non SAP Systems within the client. The aim of this project is to provide ongoing responsibilities for the BI and Archiving Solutions (BIAS,) in which many SAP and non-SAP systems are managed.
Tasks (performed independently):
- Consultation focusing on technical Solutions most suitable for the client's SAP HR BW system based on business requirements which are requested via ServiceNow or SAP Solution Manager from business.Clarification of the requirements can be conducted with the business using O365 tools. solutions will be signed off internally.
-Managing new /changed solutions from SAP and non-SAP source systems into BW and providing new as well as enhancing current business reporting using SAP Tech's based on business requirements which are requested via ServiceNow (SNOW) or SAP Solution Manager. Clarification of the requirements can be conducted with the business using O365 tools. Consulting the external partners for the implementation of these changes. All solutions will be signed off by the business;frequency: irregular, depending on business demand.
- Managing offshore teams to supplement and enhance business functional requirements using SAP BW technologies Provision of advice to Internal IT Application Management for consideration via O365 tools and ever ongoing process.
- Service Management - using ServiceNow app to initiate SAP BW system changes for BASIS team implementation. These changes will be the recommendation given from SAP's Early Watch reports, via SAP OSS Note ticketing system only. Managing the change
- HR BW System Application Management - managing the tasks for Application Management using MS Sharepoint and in places MS DevOps.
- Cloud Management - using Microsoft Azure Portal - monitor the SAP BW system is running optimally by viewing statistics provided by MS Azure about how the system is performing. Present any recommendations or areas of concern to the Application Management who will consult with HACT (clientHosting and Cloud Technology) team for implementation
- Conducting maintenance and upgrades by reviewing SAP Early Watch Reports (EWAs) of the BW system. Providing recommendations .Consulting SAP regarding implementation of patches / upgrades / security notes using SAP's OSS ticketing system. Provide all recommendations to the internal Application Manager whose responsibility is to consult with DXC Technology for implementation.
- Data Sources & Targets - managing the Data sources (SAP & non-SAP) being extracted to the BW system and Data Targets (Qliksense, SAP BO / SAC, Global SAP BW) which retrieve data from the BW system.
