For our client, who specialises in oil and energy, we are looking for an SAP SCM Consultant (f/m/d) to work remotely from Europe on a freelance basis.Start: asap
Duration: 12 months +

Project Goal:
Manages daily business and project improvement actions, including design and delivery of solutions across the of areas of SAP ECC, Vendor Invoice Management and interfaces with other SAP or non-SAP applications.
Tasks:
• Lead the SAP SCM technical team.
• Collect technical requirements from IT SCM Service Lead and key users.
• Prioritize business needs including incidents and change requests.
• Manage small to medium technical projects.
• Creation of project plans, budget, cut over plans, project effort estimations.
• Design of processes and solutions.
• Lead system integration testing
• Participate in SAP cross-functional projects
• Ensure that the security policies, best practices, external regulations, requests from auditors are met.
• Technology watch to anticipate end of life and propose new solutions.
Skills:
• Strong supply chain background & supply chain knowledge.
• 5-10 years’ experience in SAP SCM roles within SAP implementation projects.
• Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales.
• Extensive E2E process knowledge about SAP SCM process flows
• Strong knowledge of the SAP SCM domain: MM, WM, QM, RLM and integration with Finance and HR
• S/4HANA Knowledge is preferred.
• Good general knowledge of SCM business processes (P2P, Inventory Management, Logistics,…)
