SAP Transportation management Consultant
Masentó Group are working with an industry leading customer based in Germany who are deploying an SAP template to 40+ countries and require an SAP Logistics/Transportation Management Solution Lead for an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extend for a further 12 months.
The successful consultant will have completed a number of full life cycle SAP implementations and roll outs around Transportation Management processes and have excellent client facing skills for running workshops. This is an English speaking project with a view to starting immediately.
SAP Experience required:
- Strong SAP module MM, SD and LE skills for at least 7yrs
- Should know very well the SAP customising of SAP-LE Deliveries, Shipment, shipment cost, HU Packing instructions, Route determination, Batch search strategy.
- Good knowledge of shipping/export documents (Delivery notes, Packing lists, Shipping labels, CMR, proforma invoices)
- Good understanding of the end to end transportation business process (road/air shipments, local shipment/export, Incoterms)
- Good understanding of the different business models and main stakeholders of the shipment export process (outsourced shipment planning vs in-house shipment planning, 3PL/4PL, import brokers, customs)
- Experience with complex intercompany scenarios, subcontracting and plants abroad in SAP is a plus
- Experience with SAP PDF forms development or ABAP debugging skills is a plus.
Expectations:
- Should be able to write functional specifications and interact with an offshore development team.
- Should be organised and used to write good business process & functional documentation.
- Be capable of talking/presenting at a pure business level or technical level depending on the audience.
- Experience with complex intercompany scenarios, subcontracting and plants abroad in SAP is a plus
- Experience with SAP PDF forms development or ABAP debugging skills is a plus.
