For one of our clients based in Frankfurt we are looking for a SAP CO Architect with the following profile.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND TASKS
Defines the strategic, conceptual and technical boundaries for the design of the SAP Controlling processes, supporting the accounting principles. Is able to address the organization as well as the procedures of the Directorate General Finance with a focus on high efficiency, stability and performance
Understands the as-is situation and goals of the customer holistically, is able to translate it into an adequate Finance roadmap design (scenarios, processes, applications, systems) as well as the appropriate operating concept based on partner's offerings
Takes a step back if required and re-defines the concept to come to the best solution (agility in solution design), clarifies existing expectations, creates an approach which integrates diverse points of views. Collaborates with business experts and SAP teams for the best possible implementation.
Be actively involved in the definition, preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of S4Hana implementation projects/Drives knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers: S4HANA Finance data model, Finance Process, Knowledge of different accounting principles and localizations, Finance Integration with other Processes and Components. Documents successful approaches, tools etc.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent knowledge and experience on Controlling (CO-OM, CO-PA, PS) is mandatory
good knowledge of the interdependencies between Controlling and other related functionalities like Funds Management (PSM-FM) and Financial Accounting (FI)
Good hands-on knowledge related to programming (ABAP)
Knowledge of EC-EIS would be an advantage
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8 years job experience in SAP, with a minimum of 5 years of SAP FICO experience
Languages: English (+ German is an asset)
