Senior Consultant with strong business experience on precise and unique material identifier including it's implication as follows:- Different technical versions of a product (controlled by change management in an PLM system and SAP ECC) are produced in the same plant
- Production of the same technical product version are performed in different plants at the same time
- Customer shall be able to order a product while available version is checked via ATP. But he shall also be able to order a product based on infos about it's precise technical version
- An product with selected technical version should be stored separated by country of origin.
- Material planning based on technical product versions is supported.
- Traceability of technical product versions from comnponents delivered by supplier through manufacturing of the product to customer is supported.
- Tracking of delivered technical product version is supported. It is allowed that customer is receiving the same technical product version or higher with later deliveries.
- Traceability of product version on product level and also on lower assembly level (components and subcomponents) is supported.
