The objective of the role is to implement standardized templates for SAP business processes to ensure efficient performance of the business. You will play a significant role configuring and implementing SAP GTS with SD, specifically focusing on preferential calculations, sanctioned third party lists and bonded warehouse.
Your core tasks consist of:
• 3rd level support and carrying out complex projects as part of the global SAP team;
• Perform application support activities such as investigation and resolving incidents;
• Analyze and investigate system performance problems;
• Maintain the SD and GTS applications (i.e. testing support packages and releases) and document the solutions;
• Design specifications, test and implement business process changes;
• Customize SAP solutions in collaboration with the business Team
• Implement SAP solutions using defined methodologies (i.e. data migration, key user training, testing and go-live);
• Solve problems and participate in the change management process;
• Assist in defining business process requirements and their implementation;
Required Skills and Experience:
• At least 3 years excellent customizing experience in SAP GTS (Global Trade Services), SD (Sales & Distribution) and LE (Logistics Execution).
• Experience in programming/debugging, running queries, logistic information system and interface;
• Willingness to travel 15% - 20% in Germany and Switzerland
Nice to have:
• Exposure to MM, WM, Variant Configuration, QM and EDI is nice to have but not essential.
Languages:
• Must be fluent in English
• German language skills are highly desirable but not essential
