SAP is going to rollout the new acceleration platform from Cisco WAAS (Wide Area Application Services) and in meantime also decommissioning the Riverbed & Blue Coat infrastructure.
The new WAAS infrastructure is also required to support the "Next Generation Native Internet Access" (NGNIA) project to have a proxyless native internet access at SAP.

Aufgabenbeschreibung:
SAP requires the assistance of experienced Network - Administrator/Technical Consultants to support SAP on the global Cisco WAAS rollout. Doing the implementation from the beginning to the end. Requires to contact local ITs and guiding them through the initial setup like cabling etc. up to taking the devices fully operational.
Tracking the rollout and updating the status of the rollout in the database.
To support 1st/2nd level hotline on the internal ticket handling for the Cisco WAAS environment. If required also opening tickets with the vendor.
Creating and/or updating the documentations like operational & set up guide.
Supporting the 3rd level team on the WAAS projects. Working as a project member.
Developing architecture or network design etc. is not required.
