For one of our clients we are looking for a SAP Functional Data Analyst for Quality Management (m/f) in the Process / Chemical Industry. The consultant will work as a member of the data migration team in an international project to support the collection, validation, cleansing, and load of master and transactional data for migration from legacy to a new global SAP system. The role is to partner with the business and understand source systems and processes in order to contribute to data mapping from legacy to SAP.Very good functional skills in SAP QM with process industry background, as well as experience in at least two data migration projects are mandatory. Knowledge in SAP PP-PI, MM, and batch management are of advantage.
Responsibilities of the consultant:
Identifies the correct business data owners (legacy system)
Works with business process team and with legacy system users to identify data source systems, conversion and cleansing requirements, and resolve data mapping and data integrity issues
Develops and tracks data cleansing and collection requirements, including data collection templates for manually prepared data
Performs liaison role between business process owners and systems development team to gain reconciliation approval of final conversion results
Take part in conversion test cycles and approval process for data migrations
Researches and resolves ongoing design issues
The following skills are required:
4+ years relevant experience in SAP ECC QM and with the corresponding master and transactional data objects, for example material master, batches, QM plans; further module / functional expertise will be beneficial (e.g. SAP PP-PI, MM, PM, SD, eWM)
At least 2 full project cycles in SAP related-data migration roles; experience with LSMW, Bapi, IDoc, as well as ETL-tool-based cleansing and migration would be beneficial
Traveling abroad to different locations, including Israel, and various countries in Europe
Flexibility in working hours and trips schedule
Motivation to work in an international multi-cultural team
Excellent social and communication skills, both written and verbal
Fluent English
Main Location: about 4 months in Israel, then in the Rhein-Neckar area, frequent international travel required
Project duration: asap 9-10 months, longer term extension possible
