For one of our clients we are looking for a SAP Functional Data Analyst / Data Migration expert for Advanced Planning Manufacturing (m/f) in the Process Industry. The consultant will work as a member of the data team in an international project team and support the preparation, cleansing and migration of legacy master and transactional data to a new global SAP system. Very good functional skills in SAP PP-PI, SAP APO (DP, SNP, DPPS), process industry background as well as experience in at least two data migration projects are mandatory.Responsibilities of the consultant:
• Works with business process team and with legacy system users to identify conversion requirements, identify data sources, resolve data mapping and data integrity issues
• Documents target system conversion requirements, develop the functional definitions, including reconciliation requirements and transaction back-out functionality
• Performs liaison role between business process owners and systems development team to gain reconciliation approval of final conversion results
• Assists in the conversion object testing cycles
• Researches, resolves ongoing design issues
• Take part in both test reviews and the approval process of the conversion object life cycle
The following skills are required:
• 4 years + relevant experience in SAP PP-PI / APO and particularly with the corresponding master and transactional data objects e.g. material master, APO data objects, transportation lanes etc; further modul / functional expertise will be beneficial (e.g. SAP MM, TM, CO)
• At least 2 full project cycles in SAP related-data migration roles (functional data analyst); LSMW; experience with ETL-tool based cleansing and migration would be beneficial
• Traveling abroad to different locations, including Israel, various countries in Europe
• Flexibility in working hours and trips schedule
• Motivation to work in an international multi-cultural team
• Excellent social and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent English
Main Location: Rhein-Neckar area, frequent international travel required
Project duration: asap – 9-10 months, longer term extension possible
