For one of our clients we are looking for a Supply Chain Management consultant (m/f). The consultant will work as a member of an international client and consultant team and will be responsible for 2nd level support of transportation planning and execution processes of a global system. This will include supporting multiple modes of transportation (ocean, road, and rail) including freight procurement and integration with freight forwarders.Responsibilities of the consultant:
Provide 2nd level support of SAP TM supply chain processes in a global system.
Work in full cooperation with the local sites during the rollout phase of each wave.
The following skills are required:
Background in transportation planning and execution and logistics sourcing. Experience in a high volume, bulk business preferred.
1+ year(s) of SAP TM experience
Motivation to work in an international team.
Excellent social and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluent English and German
2 – 3 years of work experience
Willingness to travel internationally. For the upcoming 2-3 years more intensive travel inside and outside of Europe can be anticipated
Main Location: Rhein-Neckar area, frequent international travel required
Project duration: asap – planned for 6 months, longer term extension possible
