Our European client requires a VoIP Engineer to join the operational team at their Munich site. The successful applicant needs to be able to administer and maintain support for the Clients VoIP Exchange stack and End User Support.
The following describes the technical and experience required and that will be assessed.
Monitoring Tools Experience
SCCM, SCOM, SPLUNK, Skype for Business tools, NNM
1st Line Support tasks
Review of current document practices and the implementation of improvement initiatives to assist the infrastructure work more efficiently
Operational Tasks
- Review the current Operational Wiki documents and support Service Owners in the improvements of the content
- Maintain End user Skype for Business installations to desktop
- Maintain patch release and updates to software required
- Create IVR menus and monitor status of testing IVRs for Group Extensions
- Voice recording analysis and support
- Maintain Incident Management and Change Management using inhouse tools
- Review of current implemented infrastructure
- Provide troubleshooting and analysis of day-to-day operational problems
- Provide feedback and analysis data to the design team for improvements
- Communicate with Change Management Board regarding risks and operational hazards to network impact
Knowledge or Experience Required
- Ability to communicate in English language at B1/B2 level a must
- Experience with an SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) provider would be advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to interact with support and admin levels of the organization
- Strong awareness of political and escalation paths and how to maintain relationships with SMTs and Analysts alike
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environments
- Network certifications at Associate level, highly desirable
