For our customer we search a Key technical liaison, with strong knoledges in sensoric.

The Job includes the following topics:
Ensure efficient information flow between our Customer and OEMs engineering.
Strong technical consultancy of OEMs engineering to ensure our Customers and OEMs interests are mutually respected
Ensure that our Customers and OEMs procedures are respected.

Responsibility
- Act as key technical liaison between Customers and OEMs engineering relating all current and future OEMs projects with focus an Ultrasonic park assist (ULS/UPA) and Park 4U, but not excluding rain sensors, etc., in order to optimize communication an design processes.
- Act as key technical liaison to all interfacing activities with OEM - styling body engineering, diagnostic, wiring, multiplexing, manufacturing, service.
- Act as key technical liaison between Customers series design/ development (p1) and pre-development (p2) and OEMs electrical engineering in an effective manner.
- Provides technical support and assistance to OEMs engineering.
- Coordination of meetings with Customers VUS at OEMs
- Represents our Customers R&D and Projects on OEMs technical meetings. (System meetings, design reviews, FMEA, APQP, etc.) – if necessary – request Customers technical specialist attendance.
- Represents our Customer on meetings with Tier 1 suppliers and provides technical support to the Tier 1 suppliers.
- Co-ordination of all activities necessary to manage the integration and application of our Customers systems to all OEMs vehicle programs within agreed and approved timescales/targets
- Ensures all existing required and/or related documentation, specification or testing procedures are forwarded to our Customers engineering for review.
- Develop/review new OEMs component specifications or testing procedures as appropriate.
- Coordinates the creation and maintenance of OEMs component drawings and CAD models of Customers VUS products within the vehicle digital buck and resolves any packaging issues together with the OEMs packaging engineers.
- Coordinates SW-releases and if necessary update OEMs ECU (flashand/Or EEPROM).
- Supports and ensures (SW) bench and vehicle testing at the OEMs to ensure component/system function and – if necessary – requests Customers technical specialist attendance.
- Compare OEMs complaints and/or requirements with program specifications. Ensure failure analysis of prototypes.
- On-site support for design and assembly of sensor products in the pre-production build phase.
- Supports and presents program status to OEMs /Tier 1 suppliers at launch reviews as required.
- Support of OEMs Change Management Meetings,

COMMERCIAL
- Maintain a professional and pro-active approach
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient communication with the Customers Sales team and assist them in the communication with OEMs purchasing.
- Provide the Customers Sales team with latest program marketing assumptions (SOP dates, volumes, etc.) – if possible.
QUALITY
- Works together with our Customers and the OEMs specialists to resolve post job # 1 (SOP) production issues via 8D/PDCA process. Supports OEMs release.
- Checks immediate stock situation at plant and advises OEMs on appropriate containment actions in coordination with plant quality – if necessary.
- Ensures OEMs design releases and collates/reviews Initial Sample Report submissions packages with OEM.

TECHNICAL
- Develops and proposes initial design solutions to OEMs for new vehicle programs.
- Prioritizes and assigns key program tasks to our Customers Engineering in conjunction with the relevant Customers Project Manager.
- Performs the initial analysis of OEMs requirements and assesses implications with respect to our Customers systems and technologies for new programs.
- Coordinates and establishes performance parameters, key targets (cost, weight) and delivery schedule requirements for prototype and production product on all OEMs approved programs.
- Develops and maintains the OEMs Design Verification Plan (DVP) for the component of sub-system including vehicle tests. Provides input on to electronic OEMs verification portals (OEM internal) or appropriate system as required at program gateways
- Develops and releases new OEM component specifications or testing procedures as appropriate.
- Coordinates the appropriate system for production releasing of all our Customers VUS components at the OEM for appropriate build phases including acquiring all requested piece and tooling cost, timing and CAD release packages within agreed timescale.
- Maintains APQP summary reporting for the requested OEM programs.
- Participates in project teams as temporary member (contributor)
COMMERCIAL
- Assists the our Customers Sales account team in the communication with OEMs purchasing
- Coordinates and supports Customers VUS meetings at OEMs and key Tier1 suppliers
QUALITY
- Provides initial failure symptoms to our Customers VUS plant quality for Customers VUS systems at OEMs plants. Collects and returns failed samples to Customers plant quality for inspection.
