For our customer we are currently looking for a Transition Manager to establish a global Shared Service Center organization. As the Transition manager you will be responsible to manage the transition team with its process experts and the workshadowers. In addition you will be the main contact for both local country management as well as the global SSC project management.
Your tasks:
- Preparation of a detailed transition plan for each transition
- Monitoring and assuring the quality of the transition by ensuring compliance with the global process model
- Operational management of subsequent transitions in different countries
- Staffing, training and coordination of the transition teams with up to 40 persons for each transition (incl. process experts and workshadowers)
- Development and execution of change management measures over the period of the transition
- Identifying and reporting risks jeopardizing the successful transition
Your profile:
- Strong ability to manage projects and stakeholders
- Experience in planning complex project including interdependencies and interfaces to parallel initiatives
- Experience in leading employees and managing teams
- Experience in accounting processes would be a bonus
- Willingness to engage in new topics and ability to solve issues at short term notice
- Good communication skills
- Very good English language skills verbally and in writing, additional language skills would be a bonus
- Able to prioritize and provide direction in situation with ambiguity
- Highly committed and independent structured style of work
- “Can-do” attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
