Our client (IT services) is looking for a Presales Consultant (m/f) Cloud Services for Germany.


- Provided Subject Matter Expert advice on IT/Cloud solutions for enterprise business.

- Specialized support for Presales department over IT/Cloud services and referring delivering commercial and engineer    support for German & Europe region

- Customer facing, having meetings with the end customer explaining the solution from a commercial and technical view.

- Created Bill of Materials, Proposals, Quotes, Statement of Work, Request for Proposals, coordinating either internal areas as well as partners for feasible and profitable solutions, adapted to the client requirements.

- Be a reference within Telefonica Global Solutions at the expertise referring to security services, by delivering the necessary support at the selling and also managing the knowledge transfer through presales teams.

- Manage and coordinate the communication flows with the TGSolutions internal areas (IT and Network areas, Operations, customer service, service development, Purchase Department, etc. ), with the others OBs as Telefonica Spain,  Telefonica Soluciones, O2 UK, VIVO, etc.. and either with external providers as Cisco, Fortigate, integrators, etc, in order to define and negotiate the solutions that could covers the client requirements, guaranteeing their implementation, management, support and invoicing by Telefonica Global Solutions in a profitable approach for the company.

- Searching of alternative vendors and partners to find competitive solutions, also through the monitoring and control of the actions involved at the company partnerships management.

- Consolidate the better practices and propose improvements to the Marketing and Product Departments, in order to accelerate services development, based on the experience with the customers, empowering the services/competitiveness promoting by Telefonica Global Solutions.

- Provide technical support in Proof-of-concept, pilots and all pre-sales related activities

- Generate documentation about the processes used in the OBs and TGSol that can be used to understand how to interact with those teams.

- Continuous Trainings for the presales teams, reference to cutting edge technologies and services.


- At least 5 years’ experience in Outsourcing companies (IBM, HP, Indra, T-Systems) working in international outsourcing projects.

- Career Level: Engineering Degree

- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

- Deep knowledge on Datacenter infrastructure at system level, storage, backup systems, hosting, high availability environments, distributed environments, Disaster Recovery, contingency plans, etc.

- Knowledge in virtualization platforms for both Wintel servers and Unix systems.

- Experience and certifications in principal HW & SW technologies as Microsoft, CITRIX, VMWare, Openstack, Cisco, SAP, DELL, Oracle, IBM, EMC y NetAPP

- Deep knowledge at application level: Web, Exchange, SAP, eCommerce, etc, and business support Intranet or relationships with customers or suppliers (ERPs, CRMs) services.

- Experience in IaaS & PaaS as MEAP, Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Cloud Storage, Virtual Datacenter

- Knowledge of LAN solutions and TCP/IP level and overall Datacenter network electronics.

- Proven experience in Datacenter outsourcing projects and BRS solutions.

- Financial skills of developing business cases, analysis and financial monitoring.

- Desirable ITIL certification

- Experience in consulting pre-sales and/or sales processes.

- Excellent communication, leadership and client facing skills

- Accustomed to working on his own initiative and within a team environment

- Highly motivated and able to perform under pressure
