Your responsibilities:- Development of software for Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Collaboration with digital electronics, analogue electronics and laboratory engineers
- Propose algorithms in close cooperation with applications engineering
- Collaboration with communications and software engineering
- Building, integration and bring-up of prototypes
- Definition of test plans and testing of components and systems
- Creations and maintenance of design and test documentation
- Creation of BOM for prototypes
- Execution of DFMEAs
Our requirements to you:
- A MS or BS degree in Software Engineering or in a comparable field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Digital Signal Processing
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow
- Experience in C/C++
- Experience in algorithms like FFT, DCT, digital filters, etc
- Experience in Pattern Recognition and Edge Detection
- Knowledge in RADAR technologies (UWB radar, Impulse radar, Doppler radar) and related signal processing
- Experience in signal theory and digital/analogue signal processing
- Knowledge in communications engineering
- Proficient in using electrical equipment (e.g. power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
- Pragmatic approach and problem solving thinking
- Excellent team player in an international team
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Very good knowledge in popular software tools like Microsoft Office
