Technical Tower Lead
Project description:
- we are searching for a Technical Tower Lead for Novell
Role/Skill/Task:
- Level: 10 to 12 Years overall experience (Techno Manager Role - having experience working with onsite/offshore model)
- Sound knowledge in Netware 6.5 sp8 & Sles 11,OES2 & OES 11
- Strong knowledge and work experience in Novell clustering service(NCS) & NSS concepts
- Troubleshooting, bug fixing and monitoring hardware errors of drives and operating system and co-ordinating with Vendor
- Evaluate new features and tools to address expending business requirements such as those generated to support globalization across the extended international customer base Individual Contributor
- Lead problem resolution during critical situations and drive service improvements plans though focused review of delivery
- E-Directory concepts and hands on about user access, rights and trustees
- Maintain, manage & upgrade the architecture of system
- Familiar in CIFS concepts and good hands on CIFS
- Strong knowledge in iPrint configuration and server administration
- Strong Woking knowledge in enterprise environment
- Hands on with admin tools like iManager, ConsoleOne, AdRem, RconIP and NRM
- Developing and establishing standards, best practices and provide expert guidance for the teams
- Analysing and troubleshooting Pure FTP issues
- Experience in configuring Multipath, Volume expansion and pool move in OES 11
- Basic knowledge in scripts (Perl, python, Bash)
- Hands on experience on Server Disaster recovery
- Good knowledge in ITIL concepts and ticketing tools
- Basic Network concepts
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
- Certification is mandatory: NCA-ES, NCE-ES or CLA 11 with CNE
- Added advantage: Microsoft certification (MCSA) and Cisco certification (CCNA)
- Language skill: English, German (both fluent)
