Location
The project manager is expected to be based in Eschborn. Occasionally, travelling to Prague and Luxembourg will be required.

Project Details
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager with a solid project management skill set for a dedicated project. In the timeframe of the project, we expect a much higher complexity as well as workload related to the project plan.

Project Description and Context
The daily workload regarding request handling on functional changes, requests for information, technical changes or requirements regarding new build of an IT infrastructure is the key objective of the Service Manager. The coordination between business and the IT experts independent from the technical scope is the key role. The identification of standard products, process weaknesses and cost issues are in scope as well. Out of the experience during the daily operational work, initiatives should be started, to achieve a more efficient and robust interface between business and IT.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Service Manager is fully responsible for the management of the end to end request delivery. In particular this includes:
Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to the Customer Business Unit IT and Business Unit in terms of Service quality (e.g. availability) and Service changes within SLAs
Ensure processes and controls are in place and managed to support the e.g. Monthly reporting requirements
Drive day-to-day prioritisation of work on capabilities, working with business
Drive standardisation through the concept of Service Catalogue and SLA contracting (e.g. KPI, measurements, responsibilities, etc.)
Assess and evaluate new service requests of customers and in addition: planning of necessary measurements to realise/Launch the service in operation (OLA, service desk, etc.)
Manage service catalogue / Portfolio
Conduct GAP analysis for improvements in service quality (IT processes, interfaces, roles and responsibilities, etc.)
Represent IT (I&O and A&A) organisation in Project Steering Committees
Maintain strong and close contact to business stakeholder and its customers as well IT Operations
Define service metrics, benchmarks and KPIs that will steer the organization to achieve continuous service improvements
Act as an ambassador to establish and promote a service quality mind-set and awareness throughout the organization
Management of scope of a request from initiation to the request closing.
Experience in standard project methodologies, creating project-plan, milestone planing and the capability to prepare status reports a agreed frequency. 3. Requirements on the Service Manager

Qualification
Project management methods must be known and must have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA). A project management certification is of advantage.

Additional requirements:
Proven ability to organise and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the financial industry and familiar with its basic principles is a plus
Profound ITIL experience on execution and implementation level
Ability to manage and delegate work in a matrix environment
Solid practical project experience
Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in a team

Language Proficiency
Languages in use are German and English. Thus high level, written and spoken German and English is required.
