The company duragIS was founded 15 years ago and has since been successful in staffing vacancies in IT and other departments for our clients in the whole of Germany.For our quality team in Bonn, we are currently looking for a Junior Engineer (f/m) to perform the following tasks at our client's:
- Fixed line terminal validation & integration under lab and live network conditions
- Interoperability testing of terminals vs. different network infrastructures
- Analysis of defect root causes by deep protocol tracing, comparison with specifications / standards and explanation
- Analysis of the devices malfunction by investigation of the protocol messages captured by traces and log files
- Identification of the possible root cause to simplify the bug fixing of the supplier for the terminal or infrastructure components
- Drive defect clarification & correction on behalf of Deutsche Telekom with the supplier at DT labs (joint testing) and take responsibility to push for best-in-class quality in the market
- Timely and high quality integration of defect descriptions to HP Quality Center defect database
For our quality team in Bonn, we are currently looking for a Junior Engineer (f/m) to perform the following tasks at our client's:
- At least 4 year of corresponding experience
- QA experience of comprehensive equipment combinations (IAD, PBX, Terminals) against production, test and simulated environment.
- Protocol expertise:
- PSTN, POTS, DECT
- SIP, RTP
- MOS/T-MOS, PESQ, POLKA,
- Accoustic parameters: ECHO, Delay, etc
- Speech codecs, Narrow band, wide band codecs (G7.11, G7.22, etc)
- ACQUA System (Head Accoustic)
- LAN, WAN, TCP/IP Protocols
- Fax technology (T.30, T.38)
- IP-PBX (Asterisk), potentially (ALU, Siemens, etc)
- Understanding of fixed line networks (DSL, VDSL, ADSL, DSLAM, Session Border Controller (SBC), IADs/ HG-Router(xDSL)
- LINUX, Windows
- Deep knowhow on fixed line technologies, specifications and protocols.
- Test case automation and simulation expertise.
- Good English skills
