Es handelt sich dabei um einen ca. 4 monatigen Einsatz in Zürich (Schweiz). Wir gehen davon aus, dass wir die geforderten Skills nicht bei einer einzigen Person finden werden. Daher können sich auch zwei unterschiedliche Berater bewerben, die folgende Skills erfüllen:

Activity 1:
This customer expects staff to be on-site, with some possibility to work remote in exceptional circumstances. There is a lot of coordination required as a lot of customer groups and other vendors are involved.

They want to start as soon as possible building a ‘reference environment’. This installation is a full lab setup with all the production features, installed by any means available. This environment will exist for 8 to 12 weeks to do internal testing (for various departments) but ultimately to provide a ‘working model’, used as a reference for automation. This lab will be installed as quick as possible, probably using foreman with the openstack installer (plumgrid has written integration for foreman). I expect that foreman will not be able to implement 100% of the requirements so the deployment will be extended with manual steps. This lab is built to test the unique combination of RHEL-OSP and it’s network and storage plugins and all concepts involved, with no regard to enterprise deployment.

OpenStack controllers will be running in separate virtual machines running on RHEV. OpenStack components (Keystone, Cinder, etc) may have their own Galera cluster and RabbitMQ instance. Keystone will have at least three virtual machines with the ability to have their own rabbitmq and galera cluster (totaling up to nine virtual machines), this is to allow maximum scalability).

Activity 2:
Concurrently a separate lab will be built to automate the deployment using their existing software management. Automation is based on puppet and the modules we provide via https://github.com/redhat-openstack/openstack-puppet-modules. Plumgrid will provide their own compatible plugins, EMC will probably have their own. They already have a SOE environment. They will not accept any new deployment platform (Foreman, Satellite 6 or SpinalStack).
