Senior Testing Engineer, Navigation (m/f)
My client a large Automtive company are looking for a Senior Testing Englineer for an exciting long term contract based just outside of Munich.
-Paying 40-60 per hour Dependent on seniority.
Tasks
1. Validation of navigation application
Conduction of tests on test benches in laboratory
Participation in test drives
Detailed documentation of the finding problems
Preparation of reports maturity
2. Issue Management Including tracking of all navigation application related issues
Monitoring of all issue assigned to navigation application or map data
Supporting RD in Korea achievement analysing the issues Documented by capturing detailed data: such as log files, pictures, etc.
Organizing and conduction of bug fixing workshops with all Involved parties in order to clarify root causes issue
3. Qualification and release of map data updates
4. Improving of testing guidelines and strategies
Qualifications
Certified engineer in the field of navigation software or similar qualification
At least one year experience with navigation software (based vehicle or PND)
Experience with at automotive OEM or supplier dealing with navigation system
Fluent English (written and spoken), Ideally German and/or A Further European language
Outstanding time management and problem solving skills
high affinity to the use of navigation software
Willing to travel and joining drives in Europe
Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
