Desktop Support Key Responsibilities:
- This is a client facing role working for a high profile customer providing a fully outsourced Managed Service.
- Delivering first class, best of breed 1st/2nd line support and contributing to 3rd line and project work as and when required.
- Reporting and following agreed processes and procedures expected of a mature IT Managed Services provider is essential.
Desktop Support Key Skills
- Windows XP/7 and Office 2007
- VMware vSphere/vCenter 4.1 and 5.0 (ESX & ESXi)
- Windows Server R2 | Active Directory
- Exchange 2007 and 2010
- Good storage fundamentals (Dell Equallogic)
- Good networking fundamentals - Cisco, Juniper, HP
- Enterprise Vault (10.0)
- Server hardware - Dell
- Symantec Backup Exec 2012
- Citrix XenApp - Basic Administration
