Security Analyst/Administrator - contract - English language speaking business working environment
Skills & responsibilities:
- specifically the successful candidate will be responsible for SSL certificate management,
- the tool used by our Client is Venafi, ideally you will be familliar with this tool but it is not mandatory,
- motivation and the ability to learn new technologies quickly is a must,
- good general database skills anticipated,
- familiarity with F5 SSL offloaders ideally but also not mandatory,
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills,
- fluency in English essential, both written and spoken.
The position, summary:
Ensuring certificates are correctly installed, configured and working properly. This process also entails checking to make certain certificates comply with the organization's policies.
Once you have created a comprehensive inventory of the SSL certificates and keys on the network you will use the inventory system to monitor important events, such as impending expiration dates.
Notifying responsible parties in time to replace soon-to-expire certificates, or certificates that have inadequate key lengths, weak algorithms or were issued by a compromised certificate authority (CA), a condition that requires immediate notification.
