For our client in Düsseldorf we are currently looking for an Application Manager with good Oracle Identity Manager/SSO knowledge.
Location: Düsseldorf/Ratingen/or optional UK (after introduction period)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (+option to be extended)
Volume: 100% on site
Language: English
Tasks:
- responsible to receive Servers including connectivity
- responsible to install and configure the Apache, WebLogics, Fusion MW, JMS and software packages
- responsible for proper operation in terms of configuration, changes, implementation, roll-out and preparation for all operated services and tools
- Actively contributing to process and tool improvements by providing
requirements for support tools, and with the use of tools
- You should be able to describe and verbalise operational requirements
towards solution suppliers and imply relevant standards during project
implementation ( eg meaningful package structure for SW delivery)
Skills:
- Generally a good understanding of Web Applications ( based on browser consuming server generated HTML) is expected
- Good knowledge of AJAX understanding
- Good experience of federated components
- Good knowledge in Bash-Shell, Perl, Python, WLST, HP-OVO for monitoring implementation
- Strong IT/Application Operating background and experience in managing
complex technology, if possible with university degree in Information Technology
- + 3 years of experience in IT service provisioning (preference in the
telecommunication industry)
- Broad experience and knowledge of mobile Internet communication,
protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
- Expertise in Apache configuration and re writing rules
- Expertise in WebLogic clusters ( using DBs on Oracle-RAC)
- Proven database knowledge
- Fluency in English language both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly
