For our client we are looking for an Data Warehouse Architect (m/w).The role within the Global Information Services is responsible for architecting and overseeing the implementation of the structured data layers to support the need of customer's business units worldwide.
- At least 5 years working as a backend Data Architect
- Proven track record in the delivery of a significant warehouse orientated project.
- Significant working experience of SQL Server, MSAS, MSRS required
- Significant working experience of a data modeling tool
- Experience of SAP Data Services, Business Objects, SAP Business Warehouse, Power Designer desired
- Strong communication skills across technology, business and management
- Experience with project delivery in a global team with remote locations on different continents including a high degree of remote communications
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Structured development mindset, patience and an attention to detail is paramount
- Experience of working with external (3rd Party Service Provider, on- and off- shore) teams
- Experience of defining or maintaining Information Architecture Standards
- Experience of the deliverysupport of self-service Business Intelligence
- Some exposure to data governance concepts
