My clients are one of the biggest and most successful IT Specialist Companies in Germany. They are currently looking for a Linux Administrator Contractor/Freiberufler to operate from their Frankfurt office.
Linux-System Administrator/Tool Administrator
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Completed vocational training and several years of professional experience in server administration
* Very good knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Windows knowledge optional
* Practical experience in the monitoring of server farms ideally with Zabbix
* Familiarity with PostgreSQL
* Careful operation and high service orientation
* Analytical and conceptual approach and the right feeling to oversee complex relationships
* Organizational and communication skills
Your responsibilities:
* Monitor the two RZ distributed server farms (mainly Linux systems)
* Administer monitoring and testing software such as Zabbix, Tmart and Tosca
* Participate during commissioning of new systems, maintenance and release upgrades
