Our client, a global mobile telecoms company, are looking to recruit a Back Office Transmission Engineers to join their team based in Nuremberg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing integration and acceptance to operations in a controlled manner and having the correct processes in place to ensure operations targets and KPIs are maintained
- Working closely with Access/Bacbone Transmission Technical Leads and Project teams, to determine responsible delivery of new projects
- Supporting the Microwave networks across the end client's network
- Rollout of multiple Access and Core projects, including activations, handovers and acceptance, decommissioning, software upgrades, re-hosting and capacity enhancements
- Troubleshooting faults caused due to network deployment and project rollout and advise on the best ways to minimise disruption to the network
- Dealing with 3rd parties and vendors on a daily basis
To be considered for this role, you will require the following skills and experience:
- A proven background in a Back Office Transmission Engineer role within a mobile operator or vendor
- Fluent in German with professional working knowledge of English
- Knowledge and experience of RTN equipment
- Knowledge and Experience of Huawei technology (RTN620, RTN950, NMS U2000
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with 3rd parties and vendors effectively
