Task:
- Manage, administer, install and upgrade applications in QA/test/production environments for credit card processing/acquiring processing
- Implement, test and release customer configurations in close collaboration with specialist departments and project teams
- Analyse, design, continually develop and support business process automation
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of test automation solutions and with application tests
- onitor applications and design analysis and monitoring tools to ensure the availability of business-critical functions
- Program scripts and develop administrative tools using Ruby, Shell Script, Perl, PL/SQL as well as other programming languages
- Process technical requests for the applications to be supported (3rd level support)
- Design, create and maintain SQL reports
- Maintain configuration and operational documents for the applications
- Support installation and maintenance work in our data centres

Requirements (Must have):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject or several years of work experience in this environment
- Strong Linux skills and multiple years of experience administering applications in a Linux environment
- Experience with Windows servers would be beneficial
- Knowledge in managing clustered, high-availability systems
- Sound knowledge of Oracle SQL and the ability to generate complex requests and reports in relational databases
- Ability to generate scripts in a variety of programming languages (Ruby, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell) and to implement automated solutions for recurring operations
- Ability to grasp complex dependencies between multiple systems and to take decisions accordingly
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Nagios and CheckMK, and the ability to design and implement new monitoring checks
- Experience with Java application containers, such as Tomcat and Weblogic
- Skills and experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet, RPM and the most common revision control systems
- Ideally experience with agile development/project management methods
- You enjoy using your excellent English skills
- You are both self-motivated and able to think independently and can also work as an agile team player
- On-call duty outside of working hours and at Weekends
