We are looking for a SharePoint Developer 2010 to work at our multinational client in Bonn/Germany.
Tasks:
- Review the existing physical layout of the website in line with the client's new web-site design with the aim of providing suggestions as to how to further improve the former;
- Assist in the research, collection and classification/categorization of relevant information on capacity building by subject, time, use, specific clientele, source and other categories including reporting and placing the same on the site accordingly;
- Assist in retrieving information sent through the site and responding or taking other required actions as instructed by the supervising officer;
- Updating all information on the site;
- Daily review of the site;R
- Respond to internal and external inquiries about the site on the instructions of the supervising officer;
- Write a monthly review of activity on the site with suggestions for improving the service including for increasing the level of use by the clientele;
- Conduct a survey of the usefulness after every 3 months;
- Implement any new development on the site as instructed by the Capacity-Building Officer;
- Maintain relations with partners and other entities as instructed by the Capacity-Building Officer;
- Attend internal meeting pertaining to the issues relating to capacity building when instructed so to do;
- Write a final general report on all aspect of the site including, activity on the same, user friendliness, content of the site, how it should best be linked to the Secretariat Knowledge Management System and on how it can otherwise be improved;
- Any other duties that relate to the improvement and function of the Capacity Building Marketplace upon request by the Capacity-Building Officer.
Required Experience/Knowledge
Experience
- Full project life cycle experience working with SharePoint.
- SharePoint Designer 2010 experience.
- MS Office 2010 experience.
Knowledge
- Sound understanding of SharePoint 2010 in design roles mandatory. Exposure or training to SharePoint 2010 is an added advantage.
- Should have sound technical knowledge in SharePoint .
- Knowledge of infrastructure sizing, capacity planning principles and guidelines of SharePoint and a good understanding of various farm configurations.
- Sound understanding of web-site maintenance under SharePoint.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Any technical certification from Microsoft on SharePoint is a plus.
