We are looking for a SharePoint Developer 2010 to work at our multinational client in Bonn/Germany.
Tasks:
- Defining architectural patterns, design and development standards and processes and analysing, designing and implementing pilot and productive systems based upon SharePoint 2010.
- .net Application to summarize existing Excel inventory files into an aggregated Excel version
- The developer needs to support communications with the business users in the Mitigation, Data and Analysis programme to ensure that business requirements are understood and technically feasible; advises the business users on the options for implementation and their technical and financial implications.
- The developer also plans and conducts testing, to verify that the programs function as expected and to ensure that modifications of the existing system environment have not adversely affected system functionality. He/she contributes to the development of test plans coordinated with the testers.
Required Experience/Knowledge
Experience
- Full project life cycle experience working with SharePoint.
- SharePoint Designer 2010 experience.
- .NET development experience
- MS Office 2010 experience.
- Skills in JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, XML, .NET and XHTML.
- Skills in PowerShell.
- Workflow K2 Black Pearl and other relevant SharePoint 3rd parties tools
Knowledge
- Sound understanding of SharePoint 2010 in design roles mandatory. Exposure or training to SharePoint 2010 is an added advantage.
- Should have sound technical knowledge in SharePoint and .NET design patterns and frameworks including a sound understanding of SharePoint object model customization.
- Knowledge of infrastructure sizing, capacity planning principles and guidelines of SharePoint and a good understanding of various farm configurations.
- Sound understanding of packaging, build and release management processes and solutions around SharePoint including solutions such as TFS and Powershell.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent preferred.
- Any technical certification from Microsoft on SharePoint is a plus.
