SOLA Consulting GmbH, on behalf of an IT Services provider based in Munich, is searching for a Project Manager to lead a business critical Operations project.This contract/freelance position requires a project manager who has a demonstrable track record of entering complex technical environments, and can quickly acclimatise to the applications and methodologies, while rapidly leveraging the existing project capabilities.
This six month project, with extensions possible, is based onsite in Munich. The start date can be no later than the 27th October 2014.
Role/Responsibilities
-Management of functional, operational and technical teams
-Reporting to CXO level stakeholders and obtaining buy-in
-Quickly assessing the landscape of an existing project and making necessary enhancement recommendations as a result
-Ensuring the project is completed to agreed project plans, timescales and budgets
-Galvanising existing project teams and driving the project forward in an appropriate and sophisticated manner
Qualifications/Experience
-Recognised Project Management accreditation
-Software-oriented background
-Operational & Functional (Business-side) experience
-Comfortable working in a global organisation
-Fluent English. German skills would be beneficial
-Management of numerous business critical projects
- Ownership of 1M?+ project budgets
-Experience of working in highly technical environments
-Must be eligible to work in Germany or have a valid EU passport
