Network Support Engineer - Düsseldorf/GER
Network Support Engineer - A Network Support Engineer is needed for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company in Germany on contract basis to be based in Dusseldorf, start ASAP.
Applicants shall speak fluent English, and eligible to work in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for configuration and management of LAN/WAN network, Firewalls
- Be responsible for network support via network management applications such as SNMP, Syslog etc.
- Installation and configuration of Linux Serversand Windows Servers
- Analyzing L2 and L3 protocols such as Trunks, STP, port channels, vtp, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP etc.)
- Daily, monthly reporting to team leader, project manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
- At least 5 year working experience in relating area
- Hands on experience with Cisco and ZTE Switches, Routers configuration and management
- Understanding and work experience with VLANS and related L2 protocols (Trunks, STP, port channels, VTP)
- Understanding and working experience with L3 protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP and other routing protocols) and also redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP),
- Hand on experience with Juniper SRX series Firewalls in a redundant configuration
- Hands on experience with Checkpoint Firewalls In a redundant configuration model
- Hands on experience with Windows and Linux Servers
- Hands on experience with traffic capture and analyzer protocols
- Knowledge of Network management ideally from a Network management application point of view, SNMP, Syslog etc.
- Work experience in dual ISP environment and CCNP, JNCIS-FWV, CCSE level knowledge and experience
- Voip knowledge regarding how it works, what is needed in the network to operate with it (protocols, QoS etc.) is ideally to have.
- Experience with BGP, MPLS, MPLS L2 and L3 VPN is ideally to have.
