Great opportunity for a Solution Integration Tester to work for a Market leading telecommunications company at their prestigious location Backnang - Germany.
Job Title: Solution Integration Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Location: Backnang (Germany) with travel to offices in Nurnberg, Darmstadt, Stuttgart and Bonn
Purpose of the role:
My client is looking an experienced Solution Integrator to participate in this project, which covers the following areas:
- Fulfillment
- Operation support and readiness
- OSS Transformation
- 3PP Integration
- Fixed line and mobile systems
English and at least Intermediate German Speakers required
Key Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience in service delivery. In particular, profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering.
A background in R&D infrastructure, telecommunication professional services, or carrier operations is preferred:
- Databases, especially Oracle, PostgreSQL, and LDAP is beneficial
- Good knowledge of NE protocols: SNMPv2/v3, netconf, LDAP(S),
- Test documentation/automization tools (Imbus)
- Manual testing of OSS/NMS systems
- Creation of customer acceptance documentation
- IMS node interfaces and relevant NGSSM SBI & NBI
- Competence in IMS and core networks
- Excellent know how on UNIX/Linux level
- Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is beneficial
- Good teamworker
Responsibilities:
- You will participate in analysing complex requirements and proposing solutions in cooperation with the Core3 team.
- Understanding customer needs and translating them into delivery actions to ensure highest customer satisfaction
- Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/products for the solutions
- Creating/modifying test plans/documents
- Performing tests
