Solution Integration Tester (OSS)
My client, a leading telecommunications business is currently seeking a senior or experienced Solution Integrator in Germany on a contract basis.
The scope of the role will encompass the following:
- Fulfilment
- Operation support and readiness
- Ericsson OSS system
- OSS Transformation
- 3PP Integration
- Fixed line and mobile systems
Key Responsibilities:
- You will participate in analysing complex requirements and proposing solutions in cooperation with the Core3 team.
- Understanding customer needs and translating them into delivery actions to ensure highest customer satisfaction
- Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/products for the solutions
- Creating/modifying test plans/documents
- Performing tests
Experience:
- Extensive experience in service delivery
- Profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering
- A background in R&D infrastructure, telecommunication professional services, or carrier operations is preferred
- Databases, especially Oracle, PostgreSQL, and LDAP is beneficial
- Good knowledge of NE protocols: SNMPv2/v3, netconf, LDAP(S)
- Test documentation/automization tools (Imbus)
- Manual testing of OSS/NMS systems
- Creation of customer acceptance documentation
- IMS node interfaces and relevant NGSSM SBI & NBI
- Competence in IMS and core networks
- Excellent knowhow on UNIX/Linux level
- Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is beneficial
- Good team worker
Candidates will require very good verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You must have a good level of verbal and written German and English.
Location:
Location for this position will be Backnang with possible business trips to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, and Darmstadt.
Education:
- MSC, MBA or equivalent work experience preferably in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
