One of our clients based in Germany is currently seeking a Support specialist for a Java based application. This is a long term contract opportunity for anyone interested in getting some retail banking experience.

Details of The Project
2nd Level Support (Application Support) for a Java/Web-based application.
Following are the tasks;
1. Analysis of incidents that are addressed on the 1st Level Support
2. Analysis of errors of batch processing and interfaces to the
connected systems
3. Bug fixes and support GO LIVE
4. Monitoring of system parameters and performance metrics
5. Support for the development of Application Performance Monitoring
6. Execution of service requests
7. Support of the handover from the project to production management team for the Go Live-phase

Required Technical Skill Set
- Java & Web Technologies (Weblogic, EJB, Webservices, Hibernate, JSF, WS-Security)
- SQL, Linux user (Bash, SSH, WinSCP, Putty)
- Scripting (DOS, Powershell)

Must-Have
- German speaking
- Experience in Production management, Lending Mortgages Domain experience, Skill set mentioned above.

Good-to-Have
- Automation & Mock tools (soapUI, selenium)
- Business Rules (jBPM, BRMS Drools)
