The role of a Civil Works Supervisor (CW-Supervisor) is:
• To prepare proposals to realize telecom sites
• To work interactively with customer and GU/ASP
• To order and bill GU and ASP services
• To coordinate construction and implementation of sites
• To work interactively with acceptance and quality responsibles
• To fulfill the expected reporting towards Site Handler

Key tasks and responsibilities for site construction
• Prepare preliminary design in alignment with customer for clarification with the landlord.
• Schedule and attend construction meetings and BTB’s (site inspections) with construction agency, structural and electrical engineer.
• Cover and document inventory defects on site (including photo documentation).
• Report inventory defects as well as appropriate additional costs to the customer.
• Prepare BTB-protocol (site inspection protocol), rack layout, room layout, DC layout, lightning protections layout, power layout, antenna- and radio layout with reference to operational safety.
• Align preliminary design and BTB-protocol with respective adjustment.
• Order design engineering including statics.
• To obtain acceptance of design engineering (EP) from customer.
• Monitoring of data by GU related to detailed engineering (AP), static calculation and assembly drawings including parts- and material lists.
• To ensure execution pre-conditions (construction permission customer and BNetzA).
• Control and clearing of certificate of performance in terms of planning. Transfer for creating credit voucher.
• Preparation of a site-specific bill of quantities for GU / ASP.
• Handover of complete site-specific documentation towards GU / ASP.
• To make release order of Ericsson system hardware via Site Handler (SH) including monitoring of delivery.
• Call up and coordinate crane or cherry picker via Site Handler.
• Request installation and integration via customer tickets system (e.g. TTWOS).
• Inspection of operational safety during installation (can also be fulfilled by acceptance specialist).

Key tasks and responsibilities for site implementation
• Scheduling and coordination of installation time frame (landlord, GU, ASP, public authorities).
• To claim and check the delivery notes concerning Ericsson hardware.
• To verify interferences and additional costs from GU / ASP and inform customer when indicated or negotiate and mitigate towards ASP / GU.
• Taking full cost responsibility for his/her sites/links and all related R/O activities
• Enabling site for acceptance and appoint the appropriate time frame towards acceptance specialist and GU / ASP.
Key tasks and responsibilities for documentation & acceptance
• Review of site documentation prepared by GU and/or ASP. Deposition of the final documentation within the relevant tools (e.g. SH).
• To request and check fault recovery based on the agreed acceptance protocol and ensure feedback as well as documentation of reworked faults by relevant ASP/GU via Site Handler
• Indicate finished and fault-free sites for commissioning with consolidation of the quality responsible.
• Check the certificate of performance (e.g. BoQ), compare to the ordered items and quantity and transfer for creating credit voucher.
• Perform all related negotiations with ASP / GU
General tasks
Daily status reporting via Site Handler and CPM tools, status monitoring
Cost control
Efficiency control of GU and ASP
Authorities
CW-Supervisor has to place purchase orders with the relevant GU and ASP. In this process existing frame contracts negotiated by sourcing have to be utilized.
Check and approval of CoP (certificate of performance) as well as Bill of Quantities (BoQ) in terms of construction, civil works and system engineering and documentation.

Interfaces
Interfaces and communication between CW-Supervisor and project/network rollout stakeholders shall be defined in the rollout- or respective project process. Interfaces are described in detail by the process plan and usually include:
Internal: Project Manager, Line Manager, Work Group, Customer Unit, and Supply Chain Management.
External: Customer, GU, ASP, Public Authorities.

Role requirements
Qualifications & experience
Construction engineer and/or electrical engineer (technical college or graduated degree).
Experience from construction and installation of telecommunication sites is urgently recommended.
IS/IT tools and access
Windows office packet, basic need.
ACAD, beneficial.
Site Handler and customer related tools, have to be adopted.
Additional requirements
Certificate of G41 checkup
Certificate of climbing and rescue training.
Certificate of medical emergency training.
Competence requirements
Engineer, Technician, fluent German and English language
