Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a Disaster Recovery Principle Consultant based in Eschborn, Germany.
This Role is responsible for managing all DR Consulting and DR Management engagements within the region. Solution Consulting, Project Management & Team Management are key responsibilities for all DR engagements.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
DR Consulting
*Conducting Technology Impact Assessment, availability and Continuity risk assessment of critical technology assets
*Defining DR Technology Solution Strategies
*Determining DR Technology solutions, Recovery Plans and Implementation Roadmap
*Program Manage Implementation and conducting Recovery testing
DR Management
*Conduct IT Service Management Transition for DR Management for multiple engagements
*Plan On-going Steady state DR Management Responsibilities as per the contract
*Conducts periodic availability and Continuity risk assessment of critical technology assets
*Recovery Technology solution evaluation with various infrastructure Technology tracks
*Define Contractual requirements for necessary recovery proposition with external suppliers/Contractors/Sub-contractors
*Manages Updates of Disaster Recovery Plans with respective technology tracks (Internal & External parties)
*Disaster Recovery Compliance Reporting and Audit (Internal & External) Support
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Should have undergone specialized training/Certification in Disaster Recovery & Management.
*Team Management
*Network/Security/Storage/Backup Technology related experience
*Virtualization technology experience would be added advantage
*IT Service Management Processes awareness
