A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Commercial Manager to work on their offshore wind farm project. They are looking for an individual who can start ASAP on an initial 6 months freelance contract.Responsibilities:
Overall commercial responsibility within the project including reporting, cost control and management meetings
Risk & opportunity responsibility within the project
Support of DAB process with legal department
Analysis of works performed
Support in definition of claim strategy
Collection of needed justification for DAB issues
Responsible for variation orders within the project
Strong alignment with Project Director
Commercial responsibility as part of the project management team
Work with risk management tools identifying contractual, legal and commercial risks
Be responsible for the preparation and presentation of commercial opportunity, revenues, margin and risks
Provide strategic planning to maximize revenue and margin
Maintain and update benchmarking data for pricing and internal review
Read and review contract to fully understand commercial risk, rewards and potential/actual impacts
Attend Senior Management meetings
Meet with customers and negotiate on commercial proposals
Have regular updates with management and senior management
Manage all contracts
Participate in customer commercial negotiations
Requirements:
Good SAP knowledge
Minimum of 5 years work experience in the commercial issues area
Good English skills required
