IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Network Architect with Cisco Voice experience! Candidates must have VoIP experience documented in their CV to be considered.
This is a 12-month contract position that is able to be worked remotely, however, the preference is for Germany based candidates and candidates who speak German.
Qualified individuals must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with German speaking skills highly desired. Individuals must have progressive experience leading and managing large client engagements, preparing documentation and giving client presentations. This position requires the ability to participate in a team and on a project with several other team members requiring the ability to interact with and influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levels. Individual must be customer service oriented, anticipate client needs, openly solicit feedback and always looking for opportunities to improve services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support and administration of L2 and L3 network devices of different brands, mainly Cisco and H3C.
2. Support Voice infrastructure mainly CISCO Unified communication
3. Support and administration of load balancer devices of different brands, mainly Cisco and F5.
4. Occasionally, physical installation of network devices in cabinet or Data Center racks.
5. Attend meetings with both customer and colleagues to find solutions, fix problems, and collect requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 5 to 8 years experience delivering complex professional services engagements with a focus on enterprise networking technology and to include Data Center experience.
2. Core networking knowledge of major vendors (Cisco/HP/Juniper/Extreme), wired and wireless networking devices.
3. Core Routing knowledge in enterprise implementations (Static/OSPF/BGP).
4. Core Switching knowledge (VLAN/Trunking/Multicast/etc).
5. Core knowledge of IP Telephony y hardware and software solutions to include Cisco Unified communication infrastructure.
6. Deep understanding of Local and Wide Area Network topologies (LAN/WAN).
7. Virtualization technologies in networking (ISCSI/SDF/DCB/10GBe/Nexus).
8. Knowledge of load balancers such as F5, Netscaler, and Cisco.
9. Must have proven experience creating architecture design documentation.
10. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager).
11. Good understanding of the features and benefits of the Cisco UC platform.
12. Experience with Cisco H.323 gateways and VG224 Gateways Experience with Cisco IOS.
13. Knowledge and Experience with ISDN PRI's, Cisco Unified Contact Center and in multi-site environments.
14. Experience migrating Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
15. Ability to create Visio diagrams and create pre and post deployment documentation.
16. Cisco IPT (Cisco Unified Communications product portfolio) and Riverbed Steelhead WAN Accelerators.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree strongly desired, but willing to consider industry experience in lieu of degree.
