We are looking for a Project Manager/DWH (MS-SQL) for multinational Institution in Bonn/Germany
Objective:
- The new DWH will be based upon Microsoft SQL Server 2013 and related Business Intelligence services, including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
- The new DWH will also link to various existing and under-development IT systems developed in a variety of technologies, including Microsoft SharePoint, .NET and Java/J2EE.
Deliverables
- Lead the development of a new Data Warehouse.
- Establishing the environments
- Data pre-processing for dimensional use
- Reporting
- Training, documentation,
- PRINCE2 Project Artifacts: for example, Project Brief, Project Initiation Documentation, Project Plan, Risk Log, End-stage reports, etc.
Knowledge/Experience/Training
- University degree in Computer Science or Engineering at a Masters level or above.
- A minimum of ten years of IT project management experience successfully managing the delivery of large and complex IT projects, specifically to include Data Warehouse implementations;
- Expert knowledge of PRINCE2;
- Knowledge of a recognised IT procedure library such as ITIL;
- Demonstrable negotiation skills;
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
- Excellent English-language technical writing skills.
- Ability to document complex business processes and requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Must be results-oriented, customer-focused and responsive, with a highly professional manner;
- Must be a self-starter, able to manage their own time and dependencies effectively to deliver high quality documents according to the time frames agreed with the client and escalating issues to the responsible manager as appropriate.
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2013 with SSAS/SSIS/SSRS would be a strong advantage
