To support a customer project, we are looking for a System Test Engineer (m/f) featuring the below stated skills and experience:Your Tasks:
System level hardware / software integration test engineer for Microsoft Windows .NET applications and low level firmware software controlling mobile radio communications test equipment
Specify system level integration and regression tests
Develop system level tests for new software and hardware features
Manual execution of test plans, automate reoccurring tests
Perform LTE, WCDMA, GSM protocol, endurance and performance test cases with latest multimode LTE devices (USB dongles, modules, smartphones)
Reproduce, analyze and follow-up on issues found in system integration and core development teams until resolution
Create software test reports and report to project management
Your Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 year experience as a software test engineer
Good knowledge of test methodology and test tools
Good knowledge of at least one scripting language suitable for test automation (e.g. Python)
Basic programming skills (e.g. C / C++ / C#)
Good spoken and written German and English
Hardware / software used
Software configuration management tools Rational ClearCase, Rational Team Concert (RTC),
Bugtracking tools such as Bugzilla, Cleaquest, RTC
Various test automation and test management tools (e.g. Ranorex, Testlink)
IP-related debugging tools like iperf, ftp, wireshark, etc.
CMW500 multimode protocol tester and CMW500 protocol testing software tools
Microsoft office applications and WIKI tools for general project documentation and device management
