KPI Optimisation - German Speaking - Optimisation/3G/RF
Tangent are looking for KPI Optimisation Engineers to work in Dusseldorf for a 6 months rolling contract
Our client are performing in the a project the swap of old RBS and Siemens base station equipment to RBS6000 equipment for GSM (900MHz&1800MHz) and WCDMA (2100MHz). This swap is performed in 4 regions: Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Each region has a local deployment team which is responsible for site planning, civil works, ASP (E///Subcontractors) management and project management. The purpose of the role is to enhance this local team with KPI Acceptance & Optimization expertise as part of the KPI team. Knowledge transfer and in-depth discussion with the customer about radio performance are the key elements of this roll which will be backed from the overall competence in the KPI team.
The KPI Acceptance & Optimization team is responsible in the acceptance process and optimization for the radio performance of the newly installed RBS600 in the Vodafone network.
The acceptance is based on OSS counters (KPI). Those KPIs are analysed in our off shored Back Office and put into KPI-reports. Also this Back Office is performing a quick check of the RBS after swap and proposing optimization measures for each site/cluster
Based on this KPI-report, the quick check and the proposed optimization measures owner of this role needs to interact with our local deployment staff and our customer
- Take action on failed KPI-reports
- Talk to deployment responsible and ASP to identify installation errors (eg swapped feeder)
- Discuss with Vodafone the proposed optimization measures
- Argue with the customer to get RFC (Ready for Customer) or conditional RFC
- Interface to local KPI & Tuning team and Back Office reading all radio performance issues and radio network planning issue
- Implement knowledge transfer towards our customer
- Senior knowledge and experience in Radio Network Planning and Optimization for GSM, WCDMA, LTE
- Courses recommended
- Overview GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/HSPA, OSS-RC
- RAN Analyser, Cell Planer, Frequency Planer (xNethealing, xAFP, xACP)
- RAN Software and features of GSM G13, WCDMA W13
- Good process knowledge about all NRO (network rollout) processes
- Senior understanding of database management, radio network planning and optimization tools and field measurement tools
- >5 years' experience in NRO/KPI & Tuning projects
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel, MS Access
- Very good understanding of Ericsson way of working in KPI & Tuning domain
- Very good English communication skills
- German knowledge would be the perfect add on skill

- EDOS tool suit (eg ODG, E///RAN Analyser, ITK)
