For one of our clients we are looking for a Software Architect (Smart Metering)Main task:
- Define software requirements for German Smart Metering market – especially for Smart Metering HES / MDM / GWA Systems in combination with existing connectivity solutions
- Define high level software architecture to assure end to end functionality (HW / Connectivity / SW / Security) for German energy market
- Discuss/agree with selected 3rd party suppliers / partner companies on end-to-end architecture for existing Smart Metering connectivity solutions
- Prepare / lead interoperability tests between the client and 3rd party software solutions
- Support software partner selection process
- Support sales team in terms of detailed technical discussion with potential customer
Required Skills:
- Excellent understanding of HES / GWA solutions – additional MDM knowledge appreciated
- Deep understanding of required security elements of German Smart Metering software solutions (e.g. PKI client, Crypto support, etc.)
- Experienced in strategic discussions with 3rd party suppliers / partner companies to agree on target architecture
- At least 80% availability for Smart Energy program
- Onsite support needed – Munich (Germany)
- Utilities (Energy) experience
- German speaking mandatory
- English appreciated
