Cable Installation Manager/Offshore Operations ManagerOur client is looking for a Cable Installation Manager/Offshore Operations Manager to work on their offshore wind farm project. The client is looking for an individual who can start ASAP on an initial 6 months freelance contract, with the possibility of further extension.
Requirement:
Management of client representatives on board the Cable Installation Vessel (CLV) and Installation Support Vessel (ISV)
Employer representative on board the vessel
Interface with Marine Warranty Surveyor
Participation in Meetings with contractor for cable installation works
Single point of contact for all vessel-related communication with cable installation contractor
Review of field reports and as-built documentation
Follow up on NCR's (Non Conformity Reports)
Follow up on contractors HSSE incident reporting
Review of method statements and risk assessments
Review of Daily Progress Reports (DPR's)
Interface for Management of Change for procedures
Reporting to the Contract Manager and Logistics Package Manager
Controlling of execution offshore according to contract
Experience
Array cable installation background
Offshore wind farm experience
Project management experience
Preferably German speaking
