We are currently looking for a
Technical Lead Developer
Major Responsibilities:
Analyze and validate end user requirements, for the purpose of developing and/or customizing operational tools required to support application and system services.
Provide technical leadership in the architecture, design and implementation of solutions.
Ensure that any software that is implemented uses state-of-the-art methodology's and meets quality standards.
Constantly keep abreast of the latest technologies available on the market and evaluate the potential for including these technologies in the solutions provided by the team.
Qualification & Requirements for the position:
1. Qualification (School, university, equivalent, etc.)
University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
2. Know How/Skills
Excellent understanding of many Software Engineering methodology's (UML, Extreme/Agile Programming, BPM, BEPL, ITSM, ITIL, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of one or more Operating Systems (Linux, HP-Unix, Windows, etc.)
Must be experienced with C++ and/or Java/J2EE programming languages and IDE environments
Excellent understanding of many standard web and Application Server products, such as Apache, JBOSS, Glassfish, WebLogic
Excellent understanding of many standard markup languages and web service protocols, such as XML, XSL, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, JMS, MQSeries
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle - requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support
Ability to lead technical teams
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency in English essential, both written and spoken
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to peers and Management
3. Relevant Job Experience
Over 8 years experience working in the Software Engineering discipline.
Previous experience performing successful leadership roles on technical teams a must.
