Task:
- 2nd/3rd level network support function in German language including Network Incident-, Problem-, Change-, Config-,Performance- and Availability Mgmt
- Network project work, covering all project roles (project manager, designer, network engineering, network implementation ) and phases ( incl. not limited to consulting, requirements assessment, implementation as requested) including all the work required as part of the requested change projects and defined deliverables
- Technical point of contact for customer requests in order to fulfill the specific customer requirements, the network operations service is required to be provided with the adequate network and network security skills in German Banking and production environment
- service is required on a 8x5 schedule, as well as off-hours and weekends based on request

- Operational Support ? L2-L3 and Deep Technical Support ?
- Incident Management for all network components of the customer environment
- Incident Resolution incl. update in customer ticket systems
- Creation of Incident Reports and root cause analysis
- open and follow-up on vendor cases
- Configuration Management
- Keep CMDB up-to-date
- Maintain and create accurate network documentation based on HP standards
- Change Management
- Update of ChangeMgt tickets
- Implementation of Changes
- Creation and maintain all relevant documentation
- Presales Support
- determine appropriate HW platform and licensing based on specifications and assumptions
- creation of BoM and design documents
- feasibility study
- customer consulting
- Capacity Management
- statistical analysis and verification of thresholds
- creation and review of regular reports for the customer
- Release Management
- verification of the support ability of the HW/SW supplier
- selection of proper OS for devices in line with HP and customer standards
- Project Support:
- support in technical project management
- assessment and documentation of client requirements and scope
- engineering tasks in design and creation of design documents
- Implementation and hand-over to Operations

Requirements (Must have):
- TCP/IP, Switching, Wireless LAN, Routing (incl. dyn. routing OSPF/EIGRP/BGP), firewalling, VPN / L2 Encryption, load balancing, QoS, VoIP, 802.1x.
- CCNP level: Cisco Router, Cisco L2+L3 Switches, Cisco Access Points, Cisco LAN Engine, Cisco Firewalls (PIX + ASA + FWSM) incl. VPN Clients, Cisco Load Balancer, Cisco User Registration Tool, Cisco Network Registrar DNS/DHCP Server
- HP ASE level know-how for HP Switches + Access Points
- Advanced know-how Checkpoint Firewalls
- Foundry + F5 Load Balancer
- Ipanema Bandwidth mgmt.
- Bluecoat Proxy Server
- Bluecat DNS/DHCP Appliances
