Senior System Administrator (Freelancer)
This is where you come into play
* Project start: asap
* Location Griebnitzsee (1 Sbahn-Station after Wannsee, accessible with S1)
* Duration: 2-3 months full time (40 hours/Week)
Job Duties
* Responsible for Linux server systems, web application services, such as Nginx, Apache Tomcat and CDN
* Competent, technical contact partner for software development, product management and other departments
* Design and implement scalable and highly available system infrastructure
* Performance Analysis of Server and strategy and optimization of server capacity
* Plan and execute rollouts as well as regular maintenance (updates and upgrades)
* Development of shell scripts and automation of administrative tasks
* Analysis, solution and documentation of technical problems
* Acquisition of on-call duty
Why you
* Technical degree or has several years of experience in system administration of web sites on Linux servers
* First-class Bash Scripting skills and programming experience in at least one of the languages, Perl, Python, Java or C / C + +
* Depth knowledge related to system monitoring systems such as Icinga, Munin, Nagios, Monit, Network and TCP/IP
* Good knowledge in configuration management tools Puppet, Chef, CFEngine or similar systems
* English knowledge. You should be able to commuciate of a very good level.
* Experience in managing Postgres or MongoDB is a plus
* Experience with Continuous Integration systems (CI), DNS, Nginx are just as beneficial
* Responsible for the implementation of secure backup and recovery
