For our client in Düsseldorf we are currently looking for an Application Manager with Pega PRPC specialization
Location: Düsseldorf
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 3 months ( + option to be extended )
Volume: 100 % on site
Language: English
Tasks:
- Pega PRPC software is deployed in Weblogic container
- All relevant application data is stored in the Oracle DB (application will require own schema)
- As the Application Manager, you will ensure that the services are meeting the required standards by having control and insight in the deployed versions in all production and testing environments.
- implementing or maintaining IT Services by installing and troubleshooting software components in different environments ( preprod, prod )
- Main goal is to bring the service live and assure handover ( BAU ) to the operation team offshore
- installing the software packages received from the supplier/System integrator which has also to provide the 3rd level support
- help the system integrator in the integration activities assuring the solution achieves a readiness for go live in the expected timelines
Skills:
- Strong IT/Application Operating background and experience in managing complex technology, if possible with university degree in Information Technology
- Expertise in software integration and deployment
- Very good knowledge of Pega PRPC
- Good knowledge of RHEL ( Linux ) Apache/OHS, Weblogic application Servers
- Broad experience and knowledge of mobile Internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
- Deep Unix/Solaris knowledge, including bash Scripting, Perl, phyton, HP Ovo for monitoring implementation, rundeck for automating deployment tasks
- Oracle database knowledge
- Fluency in English language both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly
