For one of our clients we are looking for a Support FITS Servicedesk (m/w) in Munich.
Job description:
The Application Support Specialist provides 2nd level support for IT Service Management Tool related incidents, problems and questions which may arise from the Service Desk (1st level support) or predefined authorized contacts.
This includes providing technical support in troubleshooting of incidents and problems aiming to restore failures within the IT Service Management Tool as quickly as possible. In addition, the role maintains a support solution database for IT Service Management Tool specific knowledge on error handling and authorized contact support channels.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in application technical support or in a technical role
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting solutions in a complex technical environment
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with prior experience in problem analysis and resolution and rollouts and deployments of software products
Experienced in working with other support instances (1st Level Support, 3rd Level Support) on problem analysis and resolution
Working knowledge of the components in a web applications stack
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
Solid knowledge of best practices and standards regarding application support
Relevant working experience in a large scale IT environment
Excellent command in spoken and written English
